Gordon Ramsay’s Scrambled Eggs

If your mom is a big fan of breakfast meals, then whipping up the perfect scrambled eggs first thing in the morning – might be the right choice. But not just any regular scrambled eggs would do, right? Believe it or not, making scrambled eggs the way Gordon Ramsay himself does, isn’t just a YouTube favourite, but also easier than you think.
What you need:

- 2 eggs
- Butter
- Salt and pepper
- Sour cream
- Chives
How do you make it?
- Crack the eggs over a saucepan
- Addfour teaspoons of butter to the saucepan.
- Heat the pan.
- Using a spatula, stir the mixture. Make sure the bottom of the pan is stirred well.
- After 30-40 seconds, lift the saucepan off the flame. Keep stirring the egg mixture and after 10 seconds put the pan back on the flame. Repeat this for the next 3 minutes.
- In the last minute, add 1 teaspoon of sour cream and season the egg with salt and pepper.
- Once the scrambled eggs are done after 3 minutes, remove it into a plate and garnish it with finely chopped chives.
Misal Pav

A local Maharashtrian dish that can be eaten as a snack or a meal. If you’re feeling ambitious in the kitchen and your mom loves traditional Indian recipes, Misal pav done right can be quite the delectable treat.
What you need:

- 4 cups of sprout bean
- 2 teaspoons of garam masala powder and 2 teaspoons of turmeric
- 2 tablespoon Ginger-garlic paste
- Cumin seeds
- 2 chopped onions
- 2 chopped tomatoes
- 2 tablespoon coriander powder
- 1 cup of namkeen or sev
How do you make it?
- Heat the pan and add some Oleev Active oil.
- Add cumin seeds and mustard seeds and wait for them to splutter.
- Fry onions with turmeric powder for around 4 minutes.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and sprout beans and continue to fry for 4 minutes.
- Make sure the mixture is stirred well.
- Now add the coriander powder, garam masala, chili powder and tomatoes to the mix.
- After letting it fry, add 4 cups of water and cook until the beans are soft.
- Pour the misal in a bowl and garnish it with chopped coriander and namkeen.
- Serve it with butter-fried pav.
Spaghetti Aglio E Olio

In case you want to treat your mom to some Mediterranean cuisine, you can’t go wrong with Spaghetti Aglio E Olio. It’s one of the simplest Italian pasta dishes that you can make.
What you need:

- Spaghetti
- 6 cloves of sliced garlic
- Chilly flakes, salt and pepper
- 1 cup finely grated Parmesan cheese
- Chopped parsley

How do you make it?
- Boil a large pot of water and add salt.
- Once the water is boiling, add the spaghetti.
- The spaghetti will cook in 10-14 minutes. Drain the water once it’s cooked.
- Next, take a skillet or pan, put the sliced garlic and olive in it and place the skillet over a medium flame.
- Stir till the garlic becomes golden brown.
- Meanwhile, mix the chilly flakes, salt and pepper with the spaghetti.

- Serve the spaghetti mix on the plate and sprinkle the Parmesan cheese and parsley.
Mushroom Soup

Soup is easy to make and if done right, it can pack quite the flavour punch. And Mushroom soup happens to be one of the most soulful dishes to treat your Mom to.
What you need:

- Two tablespoons of butter
- Sliced mushrooms
- 2 cloves of sliced garlic
- 6 tablespoons of flour
- 1 cut onion
- 1 cup of milk
- 6 tablespoons of cream
- Chopped parsley
- Salt and pepper
How do you make it?
- Add butter in a pan and place it over a medium flame.
- Add chopped onions and garlic. Fry it for 3 minutes.
- Put the sliced mushrooms in the pan.
- After 4 minutes, add the flour.
- Put the flame on a low setting and pour in the milk. Wait for 5-6 minutes for the soup to thicken.
- Add the cream and chopped parsley and then add salt and pepper.
- Let the soup simmer for 3 minutes.
- Serve the soup with a garnish of parsley or coriander.
Chinese Maggi

- Boil the maggi in water, add in maggi masala and cook it.
